Bossa House was born during my childhood. I grew up surrounded by mid century design. Many of my parents’ friends owned Eichlers or similar although I grew up in a quintessentially “mid century modest” home.
I was continually in love with the light, color and jubliant design of my surroundings. As I grew up and the built environment started to change, I missed the adventurousness, personality, and quality of what used to be.
After owning and rehabilitating several homes myself, including a designer mid-century modern, I realized that I wanted to share what I had learned about mid-century design and living in order to carry forward the optimism and freedom of expression that the 1950s, 60s and 70s brought to us all.
